My name is Madison Golden and I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a degree in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a certificate in Digital Studies. My passion for art began at a young age when I started painting and drawing and has been carried over through a variety of mediums in my school and personal work. These mediums include metalworking, drawing, printmaking, animation, video, and audio.
My exposure to a variety of techniques is complemented by working professionally as a graphic designer and instructional designer. My passion for communication and education in addition to art has made this a natural career path.
Through my studies and professional experiences, I have learned above all that the way we communicate matters just as much as the message we are spreading. Going forward I hope to use the skills I have gained in order to spread engaging information and ideas effectively.
My personal work has been accepted into the 2020 Digital Salon at UW Madison, the 2020 UW Women's and Gender Studies Consortium's Conference; “Resistance and Reimagination: Gender, Change, and the Arts”, Integrated Art Group's "From Here on Out Exhibition", the 2020/2021 issue of the Madison Journal of Literary Criticism, and the Winter is Alive 2021 festival in Madison, WI.
